We’re lifelong plane enthusiasts who grew up building balsa gliders, launching them across backyards, and dreaming of the day we’d see the real machines up close. That childhood wonder never left us—especially with events like Warbirds Over Wanaka igniting our imaginations and reminding us how breathtaking those World War–era aircraft truly are.

From the roar of a Merlin engine to the unmistakable silhouette of a Spitfire banking over the Southern Alps, these moments inspired us to bring that feeling home.
